An introductory study of the psychosocial aspects of the artificialization of intelligences.

Luiz Joaquim Dias de Lima Nunes

Abstract

In this master’s project, the history of Artificial Intelligence was critically analyzed to understand its evolution, the interests that shaped its development, its potential beyond its current state, and the limitations in interactions between machines and humans. The project included various proposed frameworks for analyzing AI development and culminated in defining a tool for mapping the impact of technology on human ethics, aiming to predict potential unintended consequences.

Application

Using the tool defined at the end of the project, it is possible to conduct ethical risk assessments related to technology use, facilitating measurements and reports for areas such as Compliance, ESG, and HR. Since 2020, I have applied this tool in companies of various sizes, both for technologies I have implemented and those introduced by others, developing more concrete criteria for responsible technology use.
